David is a lifelong resident of Dallas. He began playing tennis at the age of 11. Little did he know that it would turn into a 24 year teaching career. Some of David’s teaching stops along the way include the University Club, Bentree and finally the Lakes Tennis Academy.
David is a competitive player. He has been ranked as high as #8 in the Texas Section in Men’s Open.
David loves teaching all levels of players. He particularly enjoys the technical and psychological aspects of instruction.
David and his wife Shalimar have two children, Erica and David (D.J.).
