Andrey MikityukTennis ProfessionalAndrey is originally from the Black Sea coast of Russia. He has been in tennis coaching for over 20 years and doing high-performance coaching for over 13 years. As a dual-sport athlete Andrey was a top level swimmer and tennis player achieving high rankings at regional and national level in Russia as a junior in both sports.
Prior to moving to Texas, Andrey lived and coached in Omaha, Nebraska where he worked at several top level tennis clubs. He also successfully ran his own private elite tennis training for over 10 years focusing on high-performance junior player development. Andrey moved to Texas as one of the head coaches and Director of Mental Performance Training at the TAG Tennis Training Ground where he coached alongside Jai Delouie, coach of Chris Evert, Lindsay Davenport, Amanda Anisimova and many other top players, as well as with Human Performance physical training direction of Eric Hernandez, current fitness coach of Daniil Medvedev. Over his coaching carrier he has worked with and developed multiple players consistently ranking in top 5 USTA Nebraska, top 20 USTA Missouri Valley, top 10 USTA Texas and top 100 USTA National rankings, as well as top 150 ITF and top 500 WTA. Multiple players earned collegiate scholarships and placed at DI-DIII schools including University of Nebraska, Creighton, Drake, Texas A&M, UTA, Baylor, Arkansas and others. Andrey is thrilled to be a part of the team at the Lakes Tennis Academy and continue to learn and share his extensive knowledge and experience to deliver top level training and core values developing world-class tennis players and outstanding individuals. |
