Before coming to Lakes Tennis Academy Greg was a high performance academy coach at TBarM Racquet Club in Dallas, TX.  In his 10 years at TBarM he worked with the top sectional and national players in the academy.  He also coached TCD teams and enjoyed working with adult players.  Before coming to TBarM Greg was the Tennis Director and Manager at Tyler Tennis and Swim Club in Tyler, Texas for 12 years. Also,  Greg was the Head Tennis Professional at Berry Creek Country Club in Georgetown, Texas for five years.
In the 25 plus years Greg has coached tennis in Texas, he has coached over 25 junior players that were ranked top 5 USTA Texas.  He has coached over a dozen players that won UIL High School State Titles.  Greg has coached well over 100 nationallly ranked juniors, many that went on to play for colleges such as; Florida, Florida State, Wake Forest, Kansas, Baylor, TCU, and Oklahoma. 

Greg coached his two daughters, Megan and Jessica Alexander.  Jessica was #2 nationally in G 12s and #1 in G 16 Doubles nationally.  Megan was #1 18s nationally.  Greg has coached two players from Texas that played in the US OPEN; Megan Alexander and Peggy Porter. 

Greg is married to Mary Ellen and has 3 grandchildren that he loves playing with.
